I just joined the forum because I've been curious about it for a while. Its a little surprising you can't view images without being a member so I went ahead and joined to see what all of the fuss is about.

I have an undergraduate degree in architecture from UVA, a minor degree in architectural history and worked for ICE back in the mid nineties doing layout illustrations for MERP, Rolemaster and Silent Death. I also did some work for the Kesmail corporation as well for a couple of computer games during the same time period.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
