    Hi everybody, My name is Tom, I am french (so... sorry for my english ).
    I don't have a great experience in map creation but I'll start geography studies next year and I practice image creation with photoshop for 4 or 5 years now.
    I have practice 3d too and a little bit of rpg creation years ago.
    Maybe I'll don't have much time immediatly to learn mapping here (baccalauréat ) but I'm shure it will be great ! (mapping, not my bac...)

    Felicitations for the forum, it is very clear and helpfull !

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
