Hey y'all
Hey y'all.. Gabe here. Just sayin hey.
I'm a DM and Player of D&D 3.5 and 4.0. Mostly draw all my maps by hand with just lines, but I'm looking for more. I want nice, quality maps that we (my groups) will love and enjoy as much as our characters. I've played with some mapping before but to no avail... So I'm hoping that this time around, with y'all's help, I'll be able to learn and put out some decent products.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
