Hi,
I'm a 28 year old girl from Vienna, Austria. I love creative writing (fantasy and such) and thats how I came to love mapping, too ^^ I'm fairly new to make a map with a graphic program, but luckily I find this site. The maps and tutorials here are amazing. Hopefully I can post my first map here soon

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
