Hi, I'm Leslie.
I play D&D, and have been a DM for more than a couple years now. I have always used pre-made maps, but have recently decided I wanted to make them how I want them, instead of changing things to suit a map someone else has made.
Now, I am here, and have already found several very nice tutorials on how to make good maps in Photoshop. It is a time-consuming process since I am very inexperienced with Photoshop, but the resulting quality is just what I was looking for.
Thanks to everyone for their posts and tutorials! I will most likely only be a lurker, but know that your efforts are appreciated!
Post more....lurk less!

Welcome to the Guild. The lurker lounge is outside in the back of the building. It sort of smells right now we just haven't had time to track down whatever died in there. Feel free to stay as long as you'd like...
Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
