hey all, I've been running fantasy role-playing games for years, and have begun working on a fantasy novel. My previous attempts at map making were't particularly skillful, but I've been watching some online tutorials and have made some improvement recently. A friend mentioned that the tutorials I was watching were probably made by a member of the Cartographers' Guild, so I decided to take a look.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
