Thread: Conworlder and Novelist

Hi there. I'm an unpublished fantasy novelist (still working on my first), and I've been making maps for the past ten years off and on. None of them have really been good enough to pass inspection, and I really want to get better. Mostly, they've been done on paper with pencil or ball-point pen, but I want to do something that can be more easily reproduced. Sure, a 6-foot by 3-foot world map drawn on computer paper may be impressively-sized, but I want something better.

I use the GIMP 2.6, and I've done a few passable maps in the past, but I'd like to keep working to get a full atlas of the world for my stories.
