Thread: Greetings and Salutations!

The first posting is always the toughest. What should I say? How should I go about it? Dive right in or tell the story from the beginning?

Ok, enough internal dialogue, my username is my name as I don't see any reason to hide the fact that I'm here. As to why I'm here, I'm interested in putting together better maps. My long gaming history has been littered with pencil line drawings that have the barest of detail to run my campaigns and then get layered with details as I go (distances, travel time, etc.). I'm considering a new campaign and am looking to do better.

So, I'll be off to look at the tutorials, especially those that use GIMP as I like free, but any insights and suggests are welcome.
