Thread: Hello, from Lita Burke

What a great forum. I'm pleased to be here.

I'm an indie author of fantasy fiction. I'm getting my debut novel ready for release this month, and I want to add a couple fantasy world maps (one "big view" of the entire fantasy world, and a detailed map of the town where the story takes place). I've become familiar with GIMP in the past few months while creating the book cover, and I plan to use GIMP to create my fantasy maps.

I've looked at some of the tutorials here at Cartography Guild, and there's a couple that suit my needs--they are a lifesaver!
