Thread: Hello, Novice GameMaster

Hi everyone!

Been trolling this site over the past year and found some great resources. I tried a lot of map generators and could never find anything that looked the way I wanted. I noticed some really talented folks her and since I am studying game design, I thought I'd try a medium that would add to my scripting skills (barely at intermediate with that ) and since my drawing skills are HORRIBLE, creating maps and images using some of these programs would be a good place to start.

I currently play and run a Play by Post game over on myth-weavers.com and since my game setting is ready to start... I need maps! so here I am trying to learn anything I can and look forward to learning from anyone willing to help teach and guide me in the right direction.
