    Default Hello?

    I'm a middle aged wargamer who started drawing fantasy maps at about the age of 10, long before I had any idea that they might have any use.

    I am now starting an 18th Century Imagine-Nations project to run as a campaign for a group of friends, and I want the maps to be a cut above my previous efforts; so I have acquired CC3 and am trying to find whatever long-suppressed genes for artistic ability I might have inherited from my mom. Once I have tapped the knowledge here and practiced my way up to mere incompetence, I shall be back for advice.

    Welcome to the Guild Lentulus. There are several CC3 tutorials here I believe. You might also want to check out Ravells Quickstart Guide to Fantasy Mapping (a link to which is available in the sticky of the Member Introductions page), as it has some really good tips on how and where to begin in fantasy mapping.
