Thread: Long time lurker, first time poster

Like the title says I've been lurking on here for a while but this is my first post. I know my join date is pretty recent but I was actually a member a few years ago and my account was removed for inactivity, it happens. I'm interested in map making and have made a few "battle map" maps from scratch using maptools, for a D&D campaign I was running, but I'd like to learn to use Gimp. I've looked through a lot of the tutorials but couldn't seem to find a tutorial for creating battle maps in Gimp, if someone could direct me. Other than that I guess I just wanted to make sure I posted here before I posted anywhere else.
