What a place!
Hello. My name is Thomas. I love making maps! I've made maps in pretty much any video game that will allow it, such as Halo 3, as well as for Steam games with Source SDK and Morrowind with the Construction Set. I also enjoy making more traditional maps such as for RPG games. I'm currently trying to create a world for an RPG setting (probably a top down style action RPG video game, despite my complete lack of programming knowledge. I often take on tasks which are beyond my skill but I enjoy it anyway.) so I'm glad to have found this site and it's resources. Thanks!
Hi there Goblin, you have come to the right place. Also, always nice to see another Oregonian here at the Guild (I'm originally from Corvallis myself, though I am now living abroad in Kiwi-land). There are tons of resources here to help you refine your skills. Also, if you have any completed maps on hand, post them in the Finished Maps forum, we'd love to see them.
