Thread: Greetings from Illinois

Hello, I'm in west-central Illinois. I've always loved maps - even have a collection of maps the core of which are National Geographic printings gleaned over many years of book and yard sales.

I am in the (very) beginning stages of learning GIMP primarily for my cardstock modeling efforts, and am glad that it can also be used for this prupose as well.

I haven't looked at the pinned tutorial yet, but will soon.

I look forward to learning much here.
