Thread: Hi there- I'm new + an artist who uses maps in some of his work

Hi, my name is pete, I live and work in London, Have a long standing interest in maps, from A-Z to world atlases and maps of political changes over the years.

As an artist I have used maps in my work over several years, at various times, I have a current show on at Unit 3 Projects in east London ( details - http://www.colourmount02.com/exhibit...ingt_s_12.html ). The exhibition is called 'mapping, time & Space and features two pieces one that reconfigures the world map on all the squared co-ordinates and one that deconstructs the entire coast line of the mainland UK
