Thread: Howdy!

While I'm new to this guild, I've been playing around with mapping for decades. I started with pencil and paper for AD&D back in the early eighties and moved to Campaign Cartographer (CC) sometime around 2000. I lost my enthusiasm for CC shortly after upgrading to CC3.

Since Photoshop and Illustrator became affordable to me as part of the creative cloud thing, I've renewed enthusiasm for mapping. I have a blast with gradient maps and height maps using either Photoshop and GIMP. I also use Vue 10 and SketchUp for 3D rendering and like to mess around with different music composition packages such as Overture, FL Studio, and Guitar Pro.
