I'm new here.

I've tried my hand at map making before, for Medieval 2 Total War, and fell flat on my face.

Right now I'm just looking to make a world map for a story I'm working on. I looked through a list of tutorials here on the forum but I mainly see city and regional map tutorials.

Does anyone have a link to a good, easy to follow, world map tutorial. Preferably using GIMP. I also have Inkscape and Adobe Flash CS3.
