Hey, Sathurn, Looks like you have a good start there. At least you have a decent idea of the shape you want to work with. I would highly recommend checking out the Tutorial sub-board, especially the Quickstart Guide to Fantasy Mapping. My first maps weren't any better than yours when I stumbled across this community. My first effort (still incomplete but I'm getting back to it) surprised the heck out of me and is a real testament to the tutorials created by the incredible folks here.
I look forward to seeing how your city develops. :)
Welcome to the Guild Sathurn. I second ProfGremlin's recommendations. There are some great town and city tutorials in the tutorials sub-board.
