    Default 'Hello World'

    Hi guys,

    I joined this site a year ago when I needed some inspiration for a D&D game I was DM-ing. I made some basic maps in CC3 for that game, but was never really pleased with the result. From when i was a little kid I always liked to doodle, draw maps, imagine new worlds, but never got into it coz my drawing skills are note something to brag about But now a couple of days ago I had a bit of extra time, so I looked back at this forum, went to the tutorials section, and found out you dont need to be an artist to make some really good maps so I decided to give it a shot

    Welcome to the Guild !! You are 100% correct. I always feel that the biggest thing is to make something YOU like. I look forward to seeing your work

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
