    Post Hi all! I'm new here

    I am designing a board game and was quite lost trying to get a good map for my prototype.
    A friend of mine told me about this website, which looks fabulous right from the start... I'm sure I'll be able to find all I need and more over here :-)

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

    Welcome! There's a number of people here who do maps for Risk-type games. And we've had plenty of other board game focused maps. Is the map the entirety of your game space, or is it an informational accessory?
