    Post Long time lurker...

    Yes, I joined over two years ago and just now got around to posting some maps.

    At the time I joined, my podcast, job, newborn, and life in general were competing for my time, so there wasn't much left for cartography. Now some free time has crept into my schedule, so I'm going to try making some progress each week and sharing it.

    I typically draw my maps by hand using traditional pen/pencil, scan it, and then recreate it in Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos 4. I am, however, becoming more interested in trying to create maps that look less digital and more realistic to the fantasy genre.

    Welcome out from the shadows !!

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
