I Joined up to Say Thank You!
I recently became DM of a D&D 3.5 campaign and discovered the wonder that is MapTool. I love using that program for our games, but ran into one small problem... I needed digital maps. As I was looking for some ideas, I came across this website. Three hours later I was still here, going through the galleries. Then I started in on the tutorials. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who has taken the time to create tutorials for those of us who (badly) needed them. I've been creeping the forums and galleries for about 6 months now, and wanted to take the time to let you know how much your work is appreciated!
Welcome. I feel just the same as what you said, Ciorstaidh. (Except I haven't tried MapTool or 3.5, I'm trying to recreate overland maps, for old school dnd campaign).
Welcome, I'm sure I speak for all when I say how wonderful it is to hear expresions of appreciation for all those who have come here and shared their love for maps and mapmaking.
