I just registered and go by the name ditBerlin (which is a long story), but you've probably figured out I'm Canadian. I fell in love with cartography at a very young age and have been drawing maps of fictional cities and nations for about forty years. Yep, I'll say it again; forty years. I have a degree in architecture and I work as a construction manager, but my passion is still cartography. I would love to learn how to create my artwork digitally. Oh course, I'm from that generation that learned most of their computer skills from their kids, so I'm definitely NOT Tech-savvy. Therefore, I'll apologize right off for any future episode wherein I'll be dumbfounded by the technology.
So...anybody want to be my mentor?
welcome to the guild, we have a ton of stuff to help you learn the ins and outs of digitally stuff. Take a look around the tutorial section.
Thank you Vellum,
I just need one more posting and then I will take your advice and go to Tutorial.
