    Post Hello

    Hello all,

    I'd like to thank you all for all the effort you've put into making an incredible site and resource. I've always loved drawing maps, but they've come out horribly every time. The art you've posted is a real inspiration.

    This is my first foray into map making (not using pencil on graph paper, that is) using GIMP. Another big thanks to whoever wrote that tutorial; it was a lifesaver.

    Looks good. Except you have a River Violation. Do not worry, we all have made that mistake. (I made it a few times when younger).

    The Violation occurs at the lake east of Riversend. The lake empties into two rivers. SOmthing that would never happen in the real world. If a Lake ever did have two exits, the water exodus would be such that eventually the level would drop to the point one river would dry up as an equilibrium between ingress and egress of water occurs with only one external river.
