    Info Greetings

    Greetings, I am new here...

    Always have had an interest in maps of all kinds.

    Main reason for joining is to learn more about creating them, particularly for the use in RPG games, which I've seen a lot of others do too.

    Looking for into stellar cartography currently, plus world maps.

    Welcome, we had someone (sorry forgot who) which is making some scripted traveller sector maps. We have a monthly map challenge - back quite a few months ago we had a stellar map challenge and theres a few guys into those too like Toff, Turgenev and some more Celestia interest as well.

    My current project I think it attempt an import of some star catalogs into Astrosynthesis so I have an accurate starmap, then add systems to the stars.

    There is a specific game I am doing this for, and most worlds on based on actual stars.

    Sounds like fun

    Celestia is REALLY fun to play with. Never heard of AstroSynthesis before, I'll have to check that out.
