Welcome fellow maplover, RPer, and writer! What do you write?
Introductory Introduction of Myself
Hello, cartophiles!
I have long had a love of maps, real and fictional. I like role-playing games and writing and have drawn some maps related to both hobbies, as well as a few just for fun.
I am currently learning to use GIMP and I've already learned some useful things from this forum.
My preference is for maps that look like maps. I don't much care for the "pseudo-satellite-photograph" style of mapping. It is probably great for battlemats, but I've never really been into miniatures.
I'll try to get a map posted soon, so you can all mock my inadequacies as a mapmaker (and maybe give me some pointers).
