Belated hello :)
Hi All,
Been a member a few days and my first post(s) were not hello! How rude!
Anywho, I have been dreaming up my own world for a number of years now and after seeing some work on these forums decided it was time to get my act together and try to put it on paper :)
Im not an artists so will be interesting to see how this goes...

You're doing fine so far and welcome.

Thanks :D...If randomly generated terrains can be considered fine ;)
While I have your attention, i'm trying to figure out how I can adapt your tutorial to work with a Wilbur generated height map (which is in turn generated by a FT world).
So in other words, I have a world full of black and white shapes (equivalent to the base layer on your tutorial) and a height map adjusted from: black (ocean floor) -> white (mountain tops), to: black (ground level) -> white (mountain tops)
Any tips?

Don't worry. I rarely bother to post a "hello, this is me" post until I have actually had something to say and people might actually be wondering "who is this guy I haven't seen before?"
Oh, and welcome from someone who is pretty new here himself.

Hello from France and welcome here.

Waldronate could answer more precisely but find out whatever types of images that Wilbur can import and then use it. Pretty straight-forward and shouldn't be too much work because I've done it myself a few times and I'm a tech neanderthal.

Thanks all :)
Ascension,
I'm learning alot as I go along and have a solution to my problem. In the end it didn't give the results I wanted anyway! Mountains don't look good in the middle of continents hehe
