Greetings from NE California. Stumbled upon this site through a web search, looking for a particular out of print map for an old game.
I've been map drawing for over twenty years, but old school (lead/ink & paper). Haven't gotten into much of the software stuff. Apps I've looked at seem to be either too simple or hopelessly complex.

Check out the software section of the Guild for some ideas about what might be right for you. There's a great deal to choose from. There are also lots of talented mappers here who start with traditional methods and then scan their roughs for further work using software apps. Enjoy your stay at the guild!
Howdy and post up them old maps. We all love old-school traditional hand-drawn work.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.
