    Post Welcome all

    Hi Everyone,
    I've been playing around with photoshop for a couple of months now and thought it would be pretty cool to make some maps. I have to say my initial map looked terrible. My current project is still pretty bad but I'm slowly improving. Thought it would be nice to get some help in what I'm doing and so here I am.

    Trying to do a parchment look to my map and finding it really difficult.

    Hi Torg, and welcome to the guild!

    There are plenty of parchment tutorials in the tutorial section, or if you just want to grab a parchment texture, have a look at the mapping elements section - there are a few there.

    I've uploaded your map to the site so it appears as a thumbnail (this means that if people want to see it full size they just need to click on it). To do this for all your future maps, just click the 'Go Advanced' box at the bottom of the box in which you type your message, and then scroll down to the 'manage attachments' box. The rest is pretty self explanatory.
