Introduction of Elbakk
Hello,
My name is Lukas and I am a 17 year old boy from the Netherlands.
Since my childhood I am obsessed with maps.
Real maps, fantasy maps, all the same.
When I was about 10 years old I started to draw my own fantasy maps.
First they were very fake and improbable, but later on they began to look more real.
I just started drawing a world that is called Elbakk (at least, in one of the planets languages) and I am trying to make it more real then ever. I try to keep in mind ice ages, plate tectonics and all such things.
All my maps untill now were handdrawn and that is actually the way to make them most personal, but now I would like to put elbakk on my pc and share it with others.
Before uploading my results untill now I would like to know how copyright is working on this site. I don't think anyone would steal my map, it's just that I want to be a bit more sure.

Welcome. As long as you state that your maps are only for personal use then you should be fine. People from around the world will see them and probably put them in a folder so that they can use them for their own games but there are a few who will try to claim that they made them so always put your name or logo on anything. Even then some will just crop out your name if it is close to an edge. Some folks will work very hard to erase your name rather than make something on their own...nature of the beast.

This is a map of the more western continents of Elbakk, Goya and Pavrpe.
The names on the map are those of the major regions. The colors indicate similarities in language and culture
