    Hi all cartographers I've liked drawing maps for a long time and was pleasantly surprised to find an entire forum dedicated to it. Can't wait to see what you've all made and hopefully learn a great deal, so I think I'll just finish up (I never did do long introductions very well) and dive into it

    Welcome to the Guild Ukulele! If your looking for more info on map-making with software, the best place to start is by reading Ravells "Quickstart Guide to Fantasy Mapping" which you can find here. The Tutorials section is also a great place to spend some time in, tons of great map-making walk through's there. Like Rythal said, we're looking forward to seeing some of your work.

    Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll have a look at the Quickstart section, since I've mostly drawn maps (well.. coastlines + cities, since I never figured out how to do decent looking mountains) by hand. And by using Clouds in photoshop of course, lol
