The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Happy Birthday Pasis!
Thank you very much for the rep!
Thanks, I'll check it out. Very interesting shapes for the cities, that's for sure.
I was wondering, do you have any city maps of your wonderful Bretoria world? I've created a campaign setting for it and it would be cool if I didn't have to do 13 maps with my current lack of time :-)
Thanks for remembering the birthday eventhough I have not been active in the community recently
Happy Birthday Passis!
The show was great and I was really taken with your work. I'm publishing my first RPG book, a "Starter" for a campaign world I have worked on for 15 years. I have a Photoshop file of the map, its not bad, but its not great. I'd like to ask if you would be willing, for a commission, just to make improvements, to give the detail that I don't know how to give it. I'd give you credit as the Cartographer. We won't publish until August 2011 so you would have lots of time to work. I wanted to ask you because your work really is in line with my own style. If you're interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd love to send you an image and you can decided if you'd like to work on it slowly over the next 8 or 9 months. If not, I completely understand and respect your decision and will look forward to the next map you release!
I look forward to hearing from you! Sorry this wasn't a private message but I can't send one yet.
Your work is incredible. I saw your Bretoria map on display in New York for the Terra Incognita show. Simply amazing detail. Do you do commissioned work?
