About Tomas L.
Biography:
I am a relatively new amateur writer. For nearly a full year, I have written a Destiny story called "Shachal". Each chapter is posted periodically on www.bungie.net. Unfortunately, it has been under hiatus for the past few months due to a personal desire to revise the already posted chapters. If you aren't familiar with Destiny, it is a science fiction post-apocalyptic video game developed by Bungie Studios. My story loosely follows the lore and general known plot Bungie outlined for the game.

If by some chance you're interested in giving "Shachal" a look, you can find the chapters here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/63746321

I am an even newer cartographer, if I can even call myself that at all. Long ago when I was a youth, a fantasy epic was born in my imagination, and for many years afterward, I continued to build upon it, but unfortunately, my creation began to diminish due to my frustration in determining certain details. But as of a few months ago, my desire to write that story rekindled, and I began to brush away the dust and ashes from my story's concept. Alarmingly, ideas poured from my imagination like a torrential thunderstorm and the details pertaining to my story's lore and plot have become more plentiful. During this time, a thought struck me. A detail I had never thought of before: A fantasy- an adventurous epic- needs a map. I love to illustrate things with words, but I realized that a fantasy was incomplete without a map. And thus, I thirsted for this to become an image before my eyes. Unfortunately, I have never done any cartography before, so I am in unfamiliar territory as I do my best to create a world worthy of a story that has haunted my thoughts for half of my life.
