Hey -Max- I'm pretty new here and was instantly drawn to your maps, I myself am an extreme amateur at the creation of realistic or fantasy maps, I like to learn more and I normally hand-draw them. Currently being in the U.S Navy I don't have much time, but I'd like to devote some time bettering this hobby. I was also curious as to what you use to edit/drawl your maps, and if you have any tips or advice?
  4. Hey Chasio,
I'm just currently working on that portfolio. Hopefully it will be available soon, I'll put a link in my signature.

Out of curiosity, do you have a website/blog portfolio besides the album here?

Pencil, draw out roughly the scale of what I want. then I use my Iphone, upload it to the computer and use Gimp, thats what I'm doing now.

    Hand-drawn, but it's a rough sketch for a computer-made one.

Hmmm, thats some good advice. The Mountains are called the Skyreach, tallest part of the mountains are to the north and south regions. So this is one of the taller regions. I'll make a post on Work in Progress with the hand-drawn map of the continent. If that'll be okay, i mean.

The main thing I need help with is ideas. The Seneshaara is a vast expanse of desert and I have nothing about it. I don't have any real idea about it other than the shape and the name of the country. I am not good with desert atmosphere, so this is a bit challenging. So I guess Geography in general. All I have is that a mountain range seperates the Country Amesyus, Meloira, and New Folkand from Seneshaara so the North and Eastern Bodern is mountain. The west and south is Alkazirian Desert.

Hello, I am Dornier Spy. I saw your work on the Sultanates. Very impressive. I was wondering if you had any tips for a Middle Eastern style for me. I currently have a country called Seneshaara that I need help working with. I don't have much information on it. I have a post that explains a bit more on it in General Discussion under the title "First Map Discussion". Just curious, thats all.
