Continued The appended story on the last page of the entry hints that the expedition that found the shield sealed in a cave was mauled by a monstrous bear like creature. The other symbols in red are what red means to humans Danger. The wolves in a pack are deadly and the church because of the supernatural nature of this creature. Thanks as always for your advice. I guess I really failed to convey the nature of the beast ! I guess I should have made the path of travel from the cave to the meeting more prominent also.

Thanks for the input. I have a tendency to go too far down the Rabbit hole ! The shell of the Leather-back sea turtle isn't bone as a normal turtles is. It is cartilage . When the "Map was made it was totally black. The edges and the ribbing are the results of decades of rubbing away the coating. I wanted to simulate the wear(aging) of the "SHELL" and went too far. I thought that the mountains , hills, lakes farms and forests were a dead giveaway. Else wise I tied to think like a monster. With no tech means to measure distance it is scaled in nights travel. Moonrise to moon set symbolizing a nights worth of travel. The RED sun symbol over a boulder with the creature. "DENNED"beneath it Shows that the sun is feared by the creature.

I changed the sphere that was ruled by dragons into Eberron's sphere. Then I invaded it with the Vodoni. Nice campaign. I combined SJ4 with ideas for the Incursion scenario from Dungeon & Dragon Mags.
