   Hi--I'm new here, and just found this while poking around the galleries. I love the style of this map--great stuff. This is the kind of thing I'm hoping to learn how to do.

   Thanks Scott, I appreciate the comment! Anything I can do to assist, just shout out. I don't consider myself to be a great mapper or an artist of any sort, but drawing little rectangles all day long and getting a good city feel? This I can do =D

   Thanks! I might need to ask for some help here and there. I had been hoping to fiddle with copying this map style, just as an exercise, while we were on a short vacation, but never got the time.
   
   Also...in my book, this is great mapping.

   I have a series of scans I have not posted that show a blow-by-blow drawing for a smaller town. Maybe that would be helpful? I wonder if I could post a short article on it somewhere on this site.
