Thank you thank you thank you.. I had a bit of a look at maptool but to brief to understand what i was doing I need to read the tutorials when i get more time, but is it possible to print directly from there possibly with the grid overlay it applies? or do i have the wrong idea.

Ah, well now. I didn't add a grid to them because maptool places it's own grid. However, I can certainly place a tiling grid on the background texture so that you can draw out your rooms. I'll add a post to the dungeon tiles thread about using these tiles in gimp to build a dungeon.
