About MonkeyBlood Design
Biography:
Glynn has been interested in tabletop gaming (RPG, miniature, card and battle) since he was about 12 - that's 30 years. he has always appreciated the artwork and maps provided in the gaming books he poured over as he grew up and they inspired him - artists such as Larry Elmore, Jeff Easley, Tony DiTerlizzi to name a few, were formative artistic role models.

Model-making is also an occasional passion, and he can also be found painting miniatures and making scenery in his spare time.

He started his working career as a Draughtsman, then Design Draughtsman and has taken roles as Contract Manager, Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer all within the engineering/electrical industry. Design, Schematics, Site Plans, Visuals, Maps for Building Systems Software, 2D CAD, and 3D has been the bread and butter of his working life, and those practices integrate beautifully with making maps, something that takes him back to the intrigued mind of that 12 year old boy.

Wow, that really gives a sense of the complexity of the underground structures ... as well as the unseen vastnesses still left to map! I really like the parchment version, and the coloured version...

This is really wonderful! I love how the island is so tiny and unassuming, yet underneath... :) Both versions look great, but the coloured one is definitely my fave. Just one crit, though... I...

Those are great. (I really like the recolored one as well) They have already spun me off into a bit of a story.....Lorgo couldn't decide what was worse, the foul smell emanating from the dank walls...

It looks great, on a side note, what is "SU"? I use maya for all my non-terrain 3d needs.

Nice work MonkeyBlood Design, and very nice of you to provide a "label free" version (though I would have wanted a labeled version also). It's probably just a matter of taste, but the second version...

Hello all. I have decided to come back to the forum. Last year I did an interesting map. I thought it would be cool to do a zoomed in version of the Herwin Weilinks annual for CC3. It's something...

Looks nice but more details and shading would have make it more "finished".

I really like that black and white map. The hand-drawn fill and bricked edges really work for me.

I agree, I prefer the uncolored version. The blurry animals in sea in the colored version looks a bit off. Also some kind of legend or explanation would have helped this map to look "more finished"...
