Wired liked post by Caenwyr On thread : The Twin Kingdoms of Aran & Ilan (finished)
I would like to present my map of Twin Kingdoms of Aran & Ilan. I've been working on it fairly non-stop for the past three months, so it's with both relief and a bit of sadness that I...

Wired liked post by Lingon On thread : [WIP] - The World of Moonfall (Fantasy/Steampunk/Post-Apoc.)
Great mountains and coasts there, and pretty interesting land shape and colors… The craters don't match the iso mountains though, I think; they'll look better if you draw them more elliptical.

Wired liked post by tainotim On thread : The Gold Coast, first map attempt
Thanks! Here comes a bigger update. Almost finished drawing all the buildings within the city. When that is done I'm going to draw the outskirt settlement and the port district. And last but not...

Wired liked post by eViLe_eAgLe On thread : Lenore
Lenore, a map for a collaborative story on an image board I volunteered to do.
So far, I like how it's coming along - what type of tree style should I use for the rest of it? The ones in the middle,...

Wired liked post by Sapiento On thread : Belendora
Testing a new brush set for mountains and hills etc. That's the result so far.
Next step will be forests - as usual I'm still indecisive if I shall use single tree symbols or drawing the forests in...

Wired liked post by Lingon On thread : Dunnan Gal Planet Map - After Nuclear Attack
Ah, I see. Knowing that the poles are missing I see that it's the same continents. I dunno if you plan on using the holograph globe on more maps, but it might be worth checking out some apps that can...

Wired liked post by Lingon On thread : Steampunk-ish political watercolor map
That's the plan, anyway!
As I did't like the way my last map turned out, I decided I need more practice. So I flipped the paper over and began drawing something new on the other side....

Wired liked post by Blaidd Drwg On thread : City of Galastan
Another city in my old campaign setting.
Hand-drawn on A3 paper using micron pens, pencils and a lot of erasers. The legend at the bottom was done digitally.
The initial inspiration...

Wired liked post by torstan On thread : Game of Thrones - 12 maps of the Known World
Ramah - yes, the paper quality was the biggest complaint about the maps, along with the fact that they were marketed using the word book, when the product is really a folio of poster maps. That's...

Wired liked post by Dain On thread : The Bridge district
Here is an illustration and map done for the next issue of a french magazine.
It had to be B/W (lucky me, I'm so bad with colours) and I tried to keep it as much "readable" as possible....

Wired liked post by Chashio On thread : WIP - Inktense Watercolor Map
Inktense pencils (via water brush) and pen on a page in my blue sketchbook. The paper is not heavy, so it's getting rather warped and wrinkly, but it's good enough for practice. This is practice. I'm...

Wired liked post by s0meguy On thread : Orion Arm Map (inspired by Bartmoss' work)
It's a matter of experimenting, but I would get rid of the jarring white borders. Either totally, or make the borders smaller and full instead of interrupting ones and maybe with a darker color that...
