Looks nice so far. I will take a look in time
Old Maps Online ( http://www.oldmapsonline.org/ ) is an interesting mashup that uses Google maps and links to old maps (such as the British Library's Map Library and the David Rumsey collection) in a creative way. As you drill down on various parts of the world map, you will see links on the right of the site that take you to historic maps that are closest to that view. Try enlarging Britain for instance, and you will see links to historic maps of Britain and other parts of the British Isles. Enlarging further on London for instance, will take you to links to historic maps of London and the surrounding environs.

Can I just add this one here as well?
It's from the archive in Leiden (Netherlands) and has scans of Willem en Johannes Blaeu's entire atlas "Toonneel des Aerdrijcx". It's in Dutch, but the name indices should still be recognisable. And it's the pics that count, right?
