Nice, thx for posting.
I post hereafter a link to the website of a small French company selling prints of old maps of France and of its regions.
These maps were ordered by King Henry IV of France and Navarre, first king of the Bourbon line of the Capet dynasty, after his coronation so as to better administrate his new realm. As a consequence, some of the maps are very heavy on locale names.
The site is only in French. On the first page there is a drop-out menu to select a particular map (they are named by the region that they depict and the date of realisation). For each particular map, click on "voir les details" to see some selected close-ups.
Enjoy!

Cool find, nice maps. Also helps me brush up on my French since I haven't used it in 15 years.
