Ankae : Kingdom of Weslande
From my Ankae Project : a more detailed map of the Aegsen kingdom of Weslande...
As usual, critics and advices are welcome.
The map itself looks good. Not a big fan of the border frame though. Perhabs a dark outline of 3-5 pixels applied to the outer and inner edge of the grey would be nice. That's just me though. Oh, and the river system looks good, but they could probably do with with a soft toned outline as well, like in the coastal area. At the moment they kind of look as if they overlap and don't have depth to them. Other than that it's a very cool map.
Great map. it has a wonderful feel to it.
The shield in the lower left corner has a box around it that probably wasn't meant to be there.
Great map! You did a very good job with the coloring. But the textured map and the texture-less border don't really go together. An outline on the map would definitely help.
