This looks good so far; nice colors but the text could maybe be smaller...will have to wait and see how things go from here to really tell for sure.
The Northern Kingdoms
Tried to make a satellite map! And I loved it, it was a lot of fun. The two northernmost countries, Hygrige and Alnaland, is the site of action in a short story I write a on.
Dictionary:
Nordsjøen: North Sea
Dalsjø: Valley Lake
Rige/Rike: Kingdom
Land: Country

Really looking good. I will follow this thread to see how you add more details.
Looks very good. One minor thing: you should get rid of the border colours where they follow the edge of the map. Otherwise it would seem the nations have actually these shapes.
Very nice map! I really like your rivers and the way they narrow as they move up the elevation. Great work!
