Thread: Saelestria, Any feedback?

I've never even heard of Gothic. I'll have to go take a look. I love a good video game.

So I finished with the names for the most part. I started looking through the GIMP tutorials for the oceans and really couldn't figure out a way to make it work by following the tutorials. They did give me a few ideas, though, and you can see how the seas have turned out. I'm still going to work on trying to put some terrain diversity/coloration in within the next couple of days.

Looks good, though I would turn the saturation of the sea color down a notch. It's a bit strong as is.

Well, I've done a little work this morning on things, added some more diversity to the terrain including a large canyon area in the lower left. I'm still trying to decide whether more of the dirt needs to go. I worked with the ocean a bit, though the straight desaturation didn't work due to likely user error. Thoughts?
