Huelien Commission

This is a area map I am doing for sharlykng It's my first "commission" :)

Basic map texture and landform outlines..

I think your colors are good but I think the texture is too bumpy...looks more like stone. Minor thing and easy fix, though.

I find it gorgeous! >< I don't understand how it would look like stone though; it looks more of like a rough parchment to me.

Kind of looks like a toasted cracker. Great. Now I'm hungry.

Congrats on your first commission jt!

sharlykng I'll move on to the rest now

Per some suggestions I toned the parchment texture down some. I can put it back if you'd prefer. I also started on some of the terrian features. I used a very muted color scheme to give the forest a little "life"

I prefer the prvious one ><" But maybe put some faded/worn colours randomly around the map?

yeah I'm not really happy with this one either. i'll be working on it some more today.
