Realism doesn't play a real part in this world, so I'm trying to reflect that in the mapping.

That looks great, Rob! I think the CG goes through fashions like anything else. Right now unrealistic must be hot.

Still looking great, and I love the font -- but there's not really any differentiation between terrain labels and city labels, so it's kind of confusing. Just a tiny nitpick, really.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
