More work. Colors are from my last map that I posted ages ago.

More - fairly minor - work: Oceans have more shades of blue and some blur; land has an additional altitude layer.

I'm not sure that I like the blurred contours of the oceans with the crisp contours of the land. It's like you are mixing two different styles.

Mh, you are perhaps right. The difference does look somewhat jarring.

Some minor edits: Most noticable will be that I am using a flat background for the water now; I think it looks much cleaner now. Also I tweaked coastlines a bit.

Really looking good, especially with the tweaks to the coasts. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

More coastline edits - and moved a bunch of islands around too. Last but not least the final mountain layer has been added.

What do you guys think of a very slight glow for the coastlines?

That's some interesting coastlines - I especially like that area between the two landmasses. The island chains are cool, too.

    Thats very good.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

Looks quite interesting... would I be correct that it's a supercontinent in the process of breaking up, with some volcanic island arcs in the north and west?
