Thread: A much neglected continent

Basic coastlines are done, but they still need to be optimized.

Hmmmm. No, don't quite like this.

I think the style might actually work if you just toned down the outer blue a bit.

Here is my take on this continent that I haven't spent much time on over the past year or so. I really like where you're going with yours.

My current problem is that I ended up with coastlines with way too many nodes. Inkscape can't handle this graphic anymore. The optimize path tool loses too much detail and I really, really do not want to delete nodes manually.

I manually re-drew the coastlines and ended up with something that Inkscape can actually cope with. Work can now continue.

Alright, a little more work gives me a new continental shelf as well. Colors are placeholders.
