    Default What I have so far on Kurond.

    This is just a very basic first draft of the basic landforms.

    Im also not sure about what kind of style to do the tree's and cities in and the deserts and such.

    I restarted this map after my first try. The map is 6000 x 6000 I want to find a different technique than just using symbols.

    There are some expansion packs for CC3 that look pretty good. You could always use Gimp (free) and do things more customized.

    Yes, i know i actually have gimp at the moment but i find CC3 quicker and easier to use.

    Also you can do all of your landforms and larger elements in CC and then bring the map into GIMP and use custom brushes for things like trees and mountains and etc.

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
