    Question Vengar WIP

    Hey all! I've been working on this map for a friend over at Giant in the Playground Forums. I don't have a whole lot of information to go on, but I'm stumped at this point.

    Here's the map:

    I find myself wondering what kind of plate tectonics would have created these landmasses, and what that means for the mountain ranges on the continents. Does anyone have any opinions?

    Well, just looking at it it kind of reminds me of the Caribbean and the northern land mass a bit like Florida. The Caribbean plate has quite a bit of the Caribbean islands and a lot of Central American on it. The Caribbean islands were formed by magma plumes. Florida sits on the North American plate. So, I would just make similar topography to those regions.

    On another note, those little squiggly islands look unnatural.

    Thanks for the help! I agree with you about the squiggly islands. They're actually supposed to be reefs, and they were important enough for the creator that he wanted them visible from space. I think they'll look better with some color on them.
